New Features

Resource Planner: Time off & holidays visibility

NOTE  This feature is planned for the 2026.4 release but will be made available later in the release cycle, after the initial release date. We will communicate availability as soon as it is confirmed.

Dispatchers now have direct visibility into employee Time Off requests and Holidays on the Resource Planner timeline, eliminating the need to cross-reference separate calendars when scheduling work.

Time Off Requests:

  • Requested and Approved PTO entries are displayed directly on the employee's timeline row

  • Entries with specific start/end times render at the hour level, respecting the employee's timezone settings

  • Entries without specific times display at the start of the employee's location business hours, showing the number of hours requested

  • Real-time updates, canceled or denied requests are automatically removed; modified entries update in place

  • Overlapping entries remain distinguishable without information loss

  • Time Off entries are read-only within the Resource Planner (no create/edit/approve actions)

  • PTO does not block dispatchers from scheduling work over time off periods

Holidays:

  • Holidays are determined by the Holiday Set assigned to each employee's Primary Internal Location

  • Holiday tiles are visually distinguished on the timeline (colored work-day tiles with holiday name displayed)

  • Holidays appear in both Day and Week views, in Week View, holidays take a full column when expanded and show a holiday icon when collapsed

  • Holidays do not restrict dispatchers from scheduling work during those days

Calendar Key:

  • A new View Calendar Key button replaces the previous events color key, opening a modal that explains what each color and icon represents on the timeline

E-invoice - Italy Support

Autotask now supports Italian e-invoicing requirements for B2B, B2G, and B2C invoice types. When an organization's country is set to Italy, the Legal ID field is relabeled to Legal ID (CUUO) and a new Codice Fiscale field appears in the invoice settings. For B2C organizations, Codice Fiscale is required; for B2B and B2G, it is optional. The correct Italian identifiers (IT:VAT, IT:CUUO, and IT:CF) are automatically included in e-invoice payloads based on the sender and receiver country and the invoice type.

Fix Contract field is now available when adding a new Device (CI) for companies with only Umbrella-type contracts.
Fix Contract Charge Defaults now correctly apply when adding a Quick Charge for resources without "Can view sensitive Charge data" permission.
Fix Timesheet periods now display correctly when changing resources in List View after navigating periods.
Fix Fixed intermittent issue where the Complete Project Wizard window did not close after clicking Finish.
Fix Notes added to an Opportunity now correctly appear in Opportunity History with Last Activity date/time.
Fix Non-editable fields (Product Manufacturer, Part Number, Material Code, SKU) now display correctly when editing a Purchase Order line item .
